This year our competition members are attending the College Disc Golf National Championship. Our goal is to raise $500 to help lower the cost for individual members. Your gift will directly support our members by helping to cover the costs associated with the tournament like travel, housing, and fees. About UNC Disc Golf
Club Disc Golf was founded in the Fall of 2021. Our club currently consists of nine members, with four members competing on our traveling team. We aim to provide members with the ability to play competitive and recreational disc golf in organized events hosted weekly on UNC's new Campus Disc Golf Course. We currently meet twice a week for practice and host additional Disc Golf related events for the community throughout the school year.
Throughout the year we volunteer by providing course maintenance such as moving basket locations weekly, shoveling tee pads in the case of snow, and assisting with trash removal. We strive to provide the local disc golf community with a beautiful and challenging course that invites players to come back to our course.
Each semester we host at least one disc golf tournament for the Greeley and UNC disc golf community with little to no cost to our competitors. Last semester UNC Club Disc Golf hosted a one-day tournament on campus that brought in over 95 participants.
