What is the Bear Pantry?
UNC's Bear Pantry is a collaborative initiative on campus to assist students who are faced with food insecurity. Having a food pantry on the UNC campus ensures that students (as well as other community members) have access to nutritious food so they can focus on their studies, rather than worry about where their next meal is coming from.
How will your donation support the Bear Pantry's success?
Your gift will allow Bear Pantry to purchase food and other essential items such as shampoo, toothbrushes, toothpaste, and laundry detergent. The Bear Pantry's demand increased 118% in the 2022-2023 academic year. Your gift will help the Bear Pantry stock its shelves with more items to meet the growing demand of UNC's students. With your help, we can fight food insecurity on campus!
